This is the first time I'll be able to speak about a virtual reality game I made with my friends for a game jam back two years ago. The premise of the game is the player wandering around the landscapes of extraterristial planets with a guide to lead the player to catch a hold of items floating around in the space. These items tell you the origins behind your robotic companion, Turon. Within 48 hours, we weren't able to flesh out the story due to these time constraints but created the demo as our product. Some key features to note out is that our group of 3 were assigned to three tasks: backgrounds by Christina H., game implementation by Natalie Cluck, and myself working on creating the models in Quill. From this experience, there were so many stories to tell from the game we unfortunately cut out due to time but I wish to explain the general outline here for your pleasure.

Who is Turon?
Named after a Filipino dessert to refer to Christina's heritage, Turon is a five-hundred-year old robot who survived a wreckage on a distant planet outside our solar system.
What is Turon made of?
Turon is made from the medley of machine learning and augmented reality. Turon is able to detect over a 100,000 biological species, detect over a 10,000 types of minerals, keeps 5 PB database of maps and astronomical objects, a 100 GB of human history and their accumulated knowledge. Turon is able to "grow" using a special biological titanium-silicon alloy and runs its own energy by the infinite rotations of tesla machine core. Turon is able to display augmented reality images up a maximum of the length of soccer field by the width of a three-story building. Its overall data stucture implemented in its software is said to be based after snowflake fractal structures, dynamically changing as Turon continues to adapt and learn its surrounding environment and perform its tasks and duties promptly.

Where did Turon come from?
Turon originated from Earth.
Why is Turon here?
Turon was sent by a scientist by the name of Dr. Leonard F. Wilkes in search of other extraterrestial life. Dr. Wilkes wished to explore the unknown and spent many years on his masterpiece before he passed away years before Turon's deparature from Earth. The game acts as a small prequel to a future series known as Kairos.
What is Kairos?
Maybe this prequel comic can act as a teaser to what's to come. :)
